When you buy something in our online store, as part of the purchase process, we have to collect some of your personal data. These personal data could be: name, e-mail, address, phone number, credit or debit card and Tax Identification Number. 

The search even without purchasing, also allows us to know, due to Internet protocol (IP), which browser and OS you’re using, which is important for a good user experience.

How do we get your consent?

You consent is always given expressly.
When you authorize us to use your personal information to complete your purchase in our online store, you’re authorizing the verification of your credit card, order placement, delivery or return of the order (with the communication of the information strictly necessary to the shipping companies), as well as the use of that information for all the vicissitudes that may occur. When you consent us to use your personal data for marketing, you’re authorizing its use to send general or targeted advertising, through any means (personally, by e-mail or by letter).

We will disclose your data to third parties only when asked for, under the governing law, or in the strict fulfillment of the contracts made between the parts (namely bank entities or payment processing, shipping companies, etc.).

The Store Judy Sanderson on Facebook is hosted on Shopify Inc.
Your information is stored in Shopify data storage, in a safe server protected by a firewall.

Payment:

If you choose a direct payment method, in this case Shopify stores the credit card information. That information is encrypted by Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Even encrypted this information is saved only during the needed time to complete the transaction.
All forms of standardized direct payment are managed by PCI Security Standards Council, which combines brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.
PCI-DSS helps to treat the information of your credit card in our store safely.

SECTION 6 – SERVICES TO THIRD PARTIES

In general, the partners we work with, will only disclose your information when strictly necessary to provide us with the service.
However, some partners, like payment platforms, have their own privacy policies for the information they ask us, so the purchase can be processed.
For these partners, we recommend you to read their privacy policy to understand how your personal data will be handled.
We remind you, however, that some partners may be located in other countries with different jurisdiction than our or your. So, when you purchase, your information will be governed by the legislation that governs the country where our partner is based.
For example, if you are located in Portugal and your transaction is processed in a partner platform located in the US, in this case your information will be legislated under US law (including the Patriotic Act).
When you are redirected to our partner’s platform your no longer governed by our privacy policies and terms of service.

To protect your personal information, we take precaution and follow industry best practices to ensure that it is not lost, corrupted, disclosed, changed or destroyed.
If you provide us with your credit card information, that information is encrypted using technology (SSL) and recorded with the encryption protocol AES-256. However, no method of Internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure, but we will follow all the PCI-DSS procedures.

SECTION 8 - COOKIES

Here you have the list of cookies that we use. We list them so you can choose if you want cookies or not.
_session_id, token exclusive, sessional, allows Shopify to save information about your session.
_shopify_visit, no information is stored, it is kept 30 minutes after your last visit. It is the way we have to count the number of visitors who accessed the site.
_shopify_uniq, no information is stored, it expires at 12:00 am the next day and counts the number of times a single costumer access the store.
_cart, token exclusive, is kept for 2 weeks, so we know the content in your shopping cart.
_secure_session_id, token exclusive, periodic.
_storefront_digest, token exclusive, it’s used to determine if the user as access.

SECTION 9 – AGE ALLOWED

By using this site, you’re assuming that you are of legal age, or that the adult responsible for the minor has allowed him to use the site.

SECTION 10 – CHANGES TO THE PRIVACY POLICY

We reserve the right to change this privacy policy at any time, so please check it regularly.
Any changes will take effect immediately after their publication on the site.
If there are changes you will be notified that there have been made changes and that the privacy policy has changed.
If our store is acquired or merged by another company, your information will be transferred to that company, so that they can sell to you products as optimally as possible.
